Community Relations

Promoting the practice of donating to the community is an integral part of Shikun & Binui’s vision, which considers its involvement in the community as a means of realizing its strategy and core values.
Community involvement is an inseparable part of the principle of sustainability, which is the Group’s guiding light. The Group believes that the involvement of its employees’ and managers’ within the community will deepen their sense of belonging and commitment to a sustainable living environment, both today and in generations to come.
  part in educational projects that integrate sustainability concerns and promote the protection of the environment. As part of these activities, the Group actively assists society’s less fortunate by collecting food and clothing, participating in welfare and social activities designed to promote educational, cultural and health issues.

Such activities include:

•  The gathering of food and clothing for disadvantaged families and distributing them via non-profit organizations.
•  The purchase of food baskets during holidays for families under the care of the Ministry of Welfare.
•  The passing out of mishloach manot (food gifts) at Purim to children with special needs throughout Israel.
•  The undertaking of activities with children during work hours. Every year, Shikun & Binui employees help children from low socio-economic backgrounds via welfare activities on holidays, “good deed” days and regular days.
•  Social sponsorships – Shikun & Binui is involved in a wide range of social activities designed to promote educational, cultural and health issues. In addition, the company is an active participant in various organizations that promote environmental issues.
•  The adoption of an elementary school in Givataim. The company funds activities, field trips and learning material in order to enrich both the children’s and the teacher’s knowledge in the area of sustainability.
•  The purchase of tickets to fundraising events for various organizations throughout the year.
•  The purchase of clothing and other equipment for IDF soldiers.
